ultra sound 30.07.2009
this morning
This is the baby bump with the bean inside. I have no idea how big the baby should be by now (17weeks pregnant this thursday), but 2 weeks ago it measured 15cm from head to toe and might have 17 or so by now. Should be around 200g.
Every morning when I wake up it makes some funny moves in the middle of my belly. I'm not quite sure what kind of move that is that makes this funny round bump; if it's its back or a particularly humongous head (which I do not hope!), but it's hilarious every time. As if somebody put half a melon under my skin.
Sometimes it kicks me already and sometimes it lets me know when it has enough of the spanish way of life - staying up till late, eating late, going out late... and then it wants to go to bed. But when we're at the beach and have jumped around in the waves it's all excited and kicks for more (at least that's my interpretation) ;-)
Other than that, everything's perfectly fine, so much fun and the best experience ever!

PS: Two friends of ours study Meds here and will check out their uni for an ultra sound machine. Maybe we can manage to sneak in and get some new pics from the inside ;-) Otherwise, we'll have to wait until the end of October...
